Sylvie Isolde Selwick (portrayed by Danielle Rose Russell)

The Youngest Selwick Sister
Green witch. Empath. Storm in bloom.

---

✧ About Sylvie

Sylvie Isolde Selwick

The wild one. The wanderer. The girl who never stayed quiet when the world begged her to hush.

Sylvie was born with magic in her blood—visions that struck like lightning and a heart that could feel everything. Premonition and empathy were the gifts she couldn’t return, powers that never asked permission before ripping through her. While her sisters wielded fire and fury with control and confidence, Sylvie often felt more like a wire left exposed—overwhelmed, untrained, and painfully open.

She adored them. Idolized them. But envy was the shadow she carried quietly, tucked behind every smile. Their power seemed sharp, useful. Hers just... hurt.

Losing their grandmother broke something sacred. When their mother vanished too, the unraveling felt complete. The day their powers were bound was the first time Sylvie exhaled without trembling. The silence in her mind was jarring at first—but soon, it became peace. For the first time in her life, she wasn’t flooded with pain that wasn’t hers. For the first time, she felt like her own person. Even if it meant being alone.

The manor emptied out. The bond between the sisters frayed with distance and grief. So Sylvie did what came naturally—she ran.

She drifted through the South, soaked up sun and jazz and moonlight on porches. She fell in and out of love on the East Coast. She worked in florists, greenhouses, herbal shops—places where the earth still whispered to her in ways she didn't have to explain. Sometimes she bartended, sometimes she sweet-talked her way into luxury. She danced barefoot at festivals, dyed her hair with the seasons, and lived off intuition, charm, and a little hustle.

She scammed guys who deserved it. Dated rich boys who thought she was magic (she was). Helped strangers in ways she never told anyone about. She was free. Or so she thought.

Then the letter came.
She didn’t open it at first. She left it on the nightstand of some hotel room in Prague or Portland or maybe Barcelona. But that night, she dreamed—not a memory, not a metaphor. A vision. The kind that used to wake her up sobbing. The kind she hadn’t had in years.

She went home.

Now, the magic is stirring again. Her empathy and premonitions are returning in flickers. Her levitation—dormant and still unknown—sleeps inside her like a secret waiting to rise.

Sylvie is older now, but still unfiltered, impulsive, dangerously soft. She’s spiritual, romantic, unafraid to feel deeply, even when it ruins her. She’s still the wild heart of the Selwick line—untamed, unpolished, and braver than anyone ever gave her credit for.

But something dark is waking.
And this time, she’s not running.

---

✧ Personality

Emotionally intuitive, even when she doesn't want to be

Deeply loyal—especially to people who feel forgotten

Impulsive in her empathy (saves things she shouldn't, forgives things she can't forget)

Prone to escapism when overwhelmed (music, spells, reckless midnight walks)

Believes in love more than logic, and magic more than math

---

✧ Magical Affinities

Premonitions – often dream-based, symbolic, and tied to emotional intensity

Empathy – she absorbs emotions like static and, under stress, can unintentionally influence them

Levitation – triggered subconsciously when she feels deeply

Spellcasting – especially charm magic, protective sigils, and intention-based rituals

Herbology – her spells are often steeped in natural elements: roots, teas, petals, ash

Mediumship – she doesn’t speak to the dead. They come to her.

Her magic is strongest when she stops trying to control it—and most dangerous when she pretends not to feel.

---

✧ Aesthetic

Style: Modern green witch meets soft boho. She wears vintage florals, oversized sweaters, stacked rings, and lace-up boots. Her long chestnut hair is often half-up with stray braids or ribbons tied with intention.

Vibe: Soft chaos. Candles in teacups. Pressed flowers in books she hasn’t finished. Moonlit spells. Whispered names.

Scents: Lavender, rain-soaked moss, and dried chamomile

---

✧ Flaws & Fears

Feels too much. Her empathy is a gift, but also a weight she doesn’t know how to put down.

Impulsive. She acts before thinking, especially when someone is hurting.

Trusts too quickly, then doubts herself deeply.

Afraid of being a burden. She often hides her pain to protect others from it.

Drawn to the dark—not to surrender to it, but to heal it.

Elias Grant Carver (portrayed by Daniel Sharman)

Whitelighter. Guardian of the Crescent Three. Bound to the oldest sister, haunted by the quietest one.

---

✧ About Elias

Before magic, there was just Elias.

A history teacher. A quiet thinker. A man more comfortable with ink-stained fingers and cracked spines than crowds. He died in 1934 pulling a stranger out of harm’s way on the streets of San Francisco—a single, instinctual moment that shifted his entire afterlife.

The Elders found him in the space between—a soul not marked by magic, but by mercy. They offered him a choice. He said yes.

For seventy-four years, Elias has served as a Whitelighter: a silent guardian, a healer, a keeper of distance. He has watched witches rise and fall. He has obeyed the Elders. He has kept his hands clean.

Until the Selwick sisters.

Until her.

---

✧ Personality

Quietly intense, observant, and deeply principled

Speaks rarely but with purpose

Protective without performance

Carries regret like a second skin

Finds solace in order, but is slowly unraveling from it

---

✧ Role in the Story

Elias is assigned to the Crescent Three when the Source begins to stir again. His primary charge is Selene Selwick, the eldest, but his loyalty is to the triad as a whole.

He’s not supposed to interfere. Not emotionally.
But Selene?
She was never casting spells.
She was alone in a bookstore when he saw her for the first time. And he broke the rules without realizing it.
He spoke to her. Just once.
And she remembered him.

Now, he finds himself slipping—quietly, completely, without regret.

---

✧ Powers & Abilities

Orbing – teleportation through light

Healing – emotional and physical restoration

Sensing – tracks charges by magical and emotional signature

Empathic Grounding – can anchor someone’s magic or emotions in times of crisis

Astral Tracking – can locate others in dreams or projected states

Cloaking – can mask his presence from magical detection (and from Selene, when he chooses to)

---

✧ Aesthetic & Vibe

Wears soft layers in grayscale: wool coats, buttoned vests, worn boots

Smells like old pages and sandalwood

Keeps a pocket watch that ticks differently around the sisters

His presence quiets a room. His silence says more than most people’s speeches.

Has never said “I love you” out loud. But she’ll know, when it matters.

---

✧ Flaws & Internal Conflict

Insubordinate. He’s stopped asking permission to care.

Emotionally tethered to Selene, and he knows it’s dangerous.

Lonely in a way that’s almost holy.

Still grieving the life he could’ve had.

Terrified of being the reason she breaks. Even more terrified of leaving if she asks him to stay.
