Extending out over the water, Steeplechase Pier offers one of Coney Island’s best spots for ocean views, fishing, photographs, and a little distance from the noise of the boardwalk. From here, visitors can look back at the rides and lights or outward toward the open water.

The pier is especially beautiful at sunset and after dark, when the amusement park glows behind you and the ocean stretches black and endless ahead. It’s a perfect location for quieter scenes, late-night talks, romantic pauses, or moments when characters need to step away from the crowd without leaving Coney Island behind.
