biography
Ever since she was a kid, Maddie has loved singing and making up her own songs. She worked hard and networked her way into the right crowds. Whatever role they needed her to take on, she did. She faked a southern accent and tried making her way in country bars. She played the sweet, dumb blonde to get the right guys to look her way, she did whatever it took to get her name out there.

In her twenties, she finally got her shot. A big record executive took a chance on her but it unfortunately came with a bigger price tag than she was willing to pay. Sure, she got herself a record and even a song that played on the radio for a while but it all came crashing down when she rejected his advances. She not only got dropped, he made sure to drag her name through the mud so no one else wanted to work with her.

Her friends Daphne and Ethan remained her biggest supporters through all the drama and controversies. Her previous relationship with Noah Pierce came back up once Maddie and Ethan began dating, and while some fans remained supportive, many of them turned on her and caused a decline in her mental health.

CAREER

personal life
Willa met Blake Adrian Maddox, frontman of Echoblade, in 2009 at a UK festival when both bands were new, raw, and unknowingly iconic. They connected over shared wounds—religious trauma, mental illness, the violent beauty of creating something out of pain. The chemistry was immediate, but timing was never their friend.

Over the years, they fell together, pulled apart, and left behind breadcrumb trails of each other in their songs. While the world speculated, Willa and Blake lived out an epic in silence—flashes of text threads, missed flights, secret rendezvous, and long stretches of absence. They were mirrors. They were wreckage.

After her public breakup and emotional fallout in 2018, Willa vanished. But he kept writing to her—in lyrics, in liner notes, in haunted melodies. And she noticed. In 2019, she quietly showed up at his show in Germany. She didn’t expect anything. But when he opened the door to find her standing there, soaked in rain and regret, everything began again.

They reconnected, slowly and sacredly. And for the first time, they let themselves have it.

Now, Willa and Blake split their time between LA and Iceland, creating art in near-complete privacy. Their work no longer pleads across albums—it pulses side by side. Together but uncodependent, raw but rooted.

discography

• “Pressure” becomes an underground anthem.
• Willa meets Blake at a festival this year.

Riot! (2011)

Brand New Eyes (2013)
• Most emotionally honest record to date.
• Secret relationship with Blake falls apart during writing.
• Almost every song is about him. She knows the ones on Gutter Saints are about her.

Glass Lanterns (2015)
• Turbulent era. Willa is in a toxic public relationship.
• Some songs reflect that—but others are still about Blake.
• He releases No Light Without Rot. It hurts more than she wants to admit.

After Laughter (2019)
• Post-breakdown return. Shiny synths hiding darker lyrics.
• Written after she reconnects with Blake.
• “Rose-Colored Boy” was the first song written.
• She begins therapy again. Band lineup shifts.

This Is Why (2023)
• A sharp, self-aware album about boundaries, womanhood, and inner fury.
• Blake moves to LA during this time. Their relationship goes public after he releases Amo and performs “Mother Tongue” live with her.
• They finally stop using songs as messengers—they have each other.

TBA (2026?)
• Willa is in early writing phases. The album is rumored to be deeply visual, mixing spoken-word and ambient textures.
• She’s considering joining Blake on tour while she creates

LEGACY & INFLUENCE

---

Willa Storme Jameson was born in Savannah, Georgia during a late-summer thunderstorm and raised on a diet of Southern gospel, MTV reruns, and red dirt defiance. Her name was meant to sound poetic—her mother liked books and hurricanes—and Willa lived up to it. Loud, creative, and unapologetic, she moved through childhood with scraped knees, bruised pride, and a voice that didn’t know how to lie.

When she was fourteen, her parents divorced. Her mother stayed behind; Willa went west to Los Angeles with her father, a sound engineer whose work brought her closer to the music world. LA cracked her open and sharpened her edges. It was there she found her first real friends, fell into the punk scene, and started fronting a band that would later become Violet Anthem.

Though her roots are Southern, Willa has always defied expectation. She worshipped Outkast and The Distillers in equal measure, spent her afternoons sketching in notebooks, and her nights screaming into microphones. By seventeen, her first songs were circulating online. By nineteen, she was touring internationally. Her band’s sound was infectious—high-octane and heartbreak-laced, built on the bones of classic emo and Southern grit.

But the spotlight didn’t save her. It nearly swallowed her whole.

Willa has lived with depression for most of her life. She’s always been good at masking it—making people laugh, making herself busy, putting on glitter and chaos and calling it performance. But there were dark years. Self-destructive spirals. Suicidal thoughts she didn’t tell anyone about until much later. She started therapy after a breakup that left her hollow. Her healing has been messy, nonlinear, and honest.

She’s been called a riot girl, a stage hurricane, a symbol of resilience—but Willa prefers not to be defined. She’s not here to be palatable. She’s here to be real. Her lyrics are war cries and confessions, bite-sized love letters to survival.

ASH MARROW

(born Elias Hawthorne Marrow)
Age: 28
Birthday: August 14, 1996
Origin: Cincinnati, Ohio
Genres: Gothic rock, post-hardcore, glam metal, alt-grunge
Years Active: 2015–present
Stage Name: Ash Marrow
Band: Dead Rituals (frontman + primary songwriter)
Labels: Obsidian Choir Records / Independent
Instruments: Vocals, rhythm guitar, piano

Biography

Ash Marrow wasn’t born with stage lights in his blood—he was born in the basement of a peeling Victorian home on the forgotten side of Cincinnati. Born Elias Hawthorne Marrow, he was raised in a fractured evangelical household where silence was holy and music was rebellion. His mother died of an overdose when he was twelve. His father, a failed preacher with a drinking problem and a violent temper, considered emotion a sin.

Ash learned early that pain was a private thing—until he put it into sound.

At fifteen, he started locking himself in the attic with an out-of-tune guitar and journals full of red-ink rage. By seventeen, he’d dropped out of high school and run away twice. He took the name Ash because it was what he felt like—burnt down, still warm, dangerous if touched.

He formed Dead Rituals in 2015 with a Craigslist drummer, a graveyard shift bassist, and a guitarist he met stealing cigarettes outside a 24-hour laundromat. They were loud, theatrical, and angry—like a funeral wrapped in glitter. Ash's look—black lace, war paint eyes, bloody-knuckle beauty—became a brand. But it was the lyrics that caught on.

Each album is a scream from the confessional. Ash doesn't write songs for radio—he writes them to bleed quieter. And fans feel it. He’s been described as “a cathedral of wreckage with a voice like stained glass breaking.”

Band: Dead Rituals

Formed: 2015
Genre: Gothic glam rock / post-hardcore
Aesthetic: War paint, leather, veils, candles, broken angel wings
Members:

Ash Marrow – vocals, rhythm guitar, piano

Drew Maddix – lead guitar (brooding virtuoso, former addict)

Iris Crowe – bass (androgynous powerhouse, screams better than most frontmen)

Levi Kross – drums (tattooed chaos in a leather kilt)

Raine – synths / ambience (ex-choirboy turned darkwave savant)

Notable Albums:

Sanctified Sin (2016) — debut EP, rough and holy, recorded in a garage

Veinflower (2018) — breakout album; themes of religious trauma and desire

Bloodhymn (2021) — cinematic, brutal, features orchestral elements

Midnight Psalm (2024) — their darkest and most vulnerable work yet

Notable track: “Monastery Skin”

Bonus duet: “Tooth & Thread” feat. Salem Esme Quinn

Stage Presence:
Dead Rituals shows are infamous. It’s not a concert—it’s a spectacle. Veils fall from the rafters. Candles drip blood-red wax. Ash sings like he’s being exorcised. Fans show up in mourning clothes, war paint, and lace.

Personality & Themes

Ash is defiant, poetic, and deeply private. He doesn’t believe in being palatable. He writes like it’s penance, dresses like a gothic prophet, and loves with the kind of silence that hurts. He doesn’t speak much offstage, but when he does, his words carry.

He once said in a rare interview:
“I don’t make music for people who are fine. I make it for the ones bleeding quiet.”
