Lost in the thought of being wrapped up naked with Luna, Noah realized he had misspoken. His initial intention was only to conceal the bulge in his pants, but the idea of addressing his situation with Luna's lips was more tempting than he had anticipated. "You're making it really hard to wait until we get home, so yes, please," he leaned in and whispered. Noah followed her with a sense of purpose as she confidently led the way outside, expertly steering them clear of the sea of prying eyes.

Noah inhaled the crisp, invigorating air, feeling its chill wrap around him like a brisk embrace. But just as the cold threatened to cling too tightly, his wife's kiss ignited warmth within him, melting away the winter's bite. He held his eyes closed during the kiss and afterward, fully savoring the sensation of her playing with his hair. But the moment she unleashed her best fangirl squeal and shouted his name, his eyes shot open wide with surprise.

He glanced around the street to ensure that she hadn't attracted too much unnecessary attention to them before returning his gaze to his laughing wife. He wanted to jokingly suggest that she needed to be a little louder, but he worried that she might actually do it, and another moment could be ruined by another fan.

Joe was unsure what to think when he heard the beginning of a very familiar Taylor Swift song. She meant it when she said he would enjoy the songs she chose. Now he was left wondering what it meant. Joe was pretty straightforward about expressing himself, but Riley was a complex puzzle he loved trying to solve. She could have picked this song because - like Fancy - he loved belting it out in his truck when he needed an instant mood booster. However, it could also mean something much deeper than that. It could be she was warming up to letting him love her again. Her request for one more dance swayed him toward the latter, but it shocked him slightly.

He had no problems pushing away all the messy things from their past; when Joe stared at her, all he saw was the woman he loved and wished to spend forever with. She was the woman who made him feel like home was a person and not a place. Joe's eyes caught Riley's leaving the nostalgic moment they were currently sharing. "Let 'em talk," he said calmly despite being panicked internally about it. He wasn't sure if any of them had the courage to confront her but many meddling townfolk had already nagged him about when he was going to win her back over. They would certainly have a few words for him after finding out the two had been seen dancing like this, especially when she changed positions and made it all the more intimate.

Joe chuckled out loud and thought internally how he'd need to thank Nikki for unknowingly being a great wingman for him. Although he wouldn't put it past her to come up with a plan to try and hook her aunt with him just so he could continue to come around. The apology caught him off guard however because in his mind, he should be the one to apologize. For what? He wasn't sure but he was convinced that he had done something stupid that caused all their relationship misfortunes. He was too simple to know what it was that he did but once he figured it out, he was planning on apologizing for it.

As he stared down into her eyes, he struggled to find the words and so he just stared with a slightly dumbfounded yet amused look on his face."You don't need to be sorry, darlin. I get why you did what you did." He could never put himself in the shoes of someone who wanted to leave their hometown and everyone they knew to start over because that wasn't him but he could now understand why she needed to. He was just thankful she came back sooner rather than he ever expected.

Happily allowing her to guide his arm back around her, his smile widened when he felt her arm around him and heard her expression of love. "I love you too, forever." He'd already quickly forgotten all about the fans as he got lost in his love for Luna but he was quickly reminded when someone snapped a picture of what was supposed to be an intimate moment. He wanted to get angry but Luna quickly diffused his temper.
