A small roadside motel just past the last cluster of houses leaving Bedford Falls. The sign out front flickers slightly at night, one letter always dimmer than the rest.

The building is a long, single-story strip with exterior doors, each room marked by a brass number plate that’s seen better days. The paint is a little faded, but the place is clean—kept up just enough to feel intentional.

Each room has:
• thin patterned curtains
• a standard bedspread that’s been replaced more than once
• a small table with a lamp
• an old TV mounted in the corner

There’s a row of parking spaces directly in front of the rooms, gravel instead of pavement, and a small vending machine tucked near the office.

The office itself is lit late into the evening, with a bell on the counter and a corkboard behind it filled with local flyers.

Atmosphere:
quiet, slightly removed, practical with a hint of loneliness
