about elijahElijah had a fairly boring childhood considering he grew up in Shadyside. He was lucky enough to have both of his parents even if they were usually busy working full time jobs. His childhood home may have been a humble doublewide but that trailer park is where he met his lifelong friend, Benji. By middle school, his parents moved him into his grandparent's house (after their passing) but he continued to spend a lot of time in the park. Especially once Benji and he decided to form a band in order to "get the ladies".

In high school, Eli started dating Maxine Miller and he was instantly smitten with her. She was gorgeous, clever, sexy, and made him feel unlike any other girl had before. Not that there were that many before her but still. Eli only really wants two things: to marry Maxine and get the hell out of Shadyside. He had been hoping that they could have made it out before any murders started happening again, but it doesn't appear that is going to be the case.

about heatherOn the surface, Heather seems like just another perky cheerleader and she plays that role well in order to fit in at Sunnyvale High. If her peers knew about her special interests, they would surely ridicule her but luckily she has her bff, Alice Mae, to drag along with her down the rabbit hole. Heather has a bit of a fascination with true crime and conspiracy theories and luckily for her the neighboring town has both. Ever since hearing about Sarah Fier and the curse, Heather has been obsessed with figuring it out. All the Nancy Drew books she read as a kid are probably to blame.

The Mitchie murders merely fueled her desire for the truth and it led to her and her friends making a wild discovery in the Shadyside graveyard. Now Heather is stuck trying to blend in long enough to make it thru junior and senior year, all the while trying to keep her grip on reality. She can't deny what they saw and heard in the tunnels but that would mean that witches quite possibly exist. On top of all that, Heather has recently developed herself a crush on a tall, dark, and handsome Shadysider.
